Pasture Raised Poultry
During the summer months we raise a flock of chicken in mobile greenhouse enclosures in our fields. Our chicken is non-GMO and Antibiotic and Horomone free. We process our animals weekly in-season, to provide fresh, never-frozen options throughout the peak summer season.
Our chicken is available direct-to-customer and on a wholesale basis. Our chicken can be custom-raised for any event during the summer and processed for any specific cut, from half chickens to breasts and wings. Our chicken can also be found in a variety of central NH restaurants and stores as well as at our own farm-to-table events!

Grassfed Beef
Whether it was a few head for the original homesteaders, larger grazing commercial dairy herds, or robust New England beef/meat herds like ours, our bovine friends have dotted the pastures for centuries at Timber Hill Farm.
Three generations of Howes have raised cattle at Timber Hill Farm - a short stewardship relative to the farm's 200 year cattle history. We raise our own unique & diverse, hearty herd of cattle specifically bred [ primarily from Belted Galloway ] to thrive in our abrasive New England climate. With an eye towards self sufficiency, we grow and harvest all our own feed - high nutrient round and square bale hay augmented with both fresh veggies and pasture grazing in the summer months. Our beef herd always has unlimited access to their hillside pastures, streams and wooded groves.
