How many guests can you accommodate?

Our max capacity is 180 guests including the wedding couple. We host a wide range of weddings, from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations. Guest count is determined by your layout and reception design. We’ll work closely with you early in the planning process to ensure the space feels intentional, comfortable, and beautifully designed for your day.

Do you host more than one wedding per weekend?

 

No. We host only one wedding per weekend, ensuring full privacy and exclusive access to the property. This allows each couple a calm, unrushed experience with the space entirely dedicated to their celebration.

What is included in the venue rental?

 

Your rental includes full access to the ceremony and reception spaces, walkthrough rehearsal, usage of tables and chairs, whiskey barrels, and a curated collection of décor pieces. You’ll also receive planning support and on-site assistance throughout your wedding experience.

Do we need to hire a wedding planner separately?

 

No - we know our space best! Each booking includes two planners who support you throughout the entire process. They assist with logistics, timelines, vendor coordination, rehearsal walkthrough, and on-site execution to ensure a seamless wedding day.

Can we use our own vendors?

 

Yes. We are a flexible, DIY-friendly venue and welcome outside vendors. You are free to bring your preferred vendors including caterers, photographers, florists, and other professionals, provided they meet our basic venue guidelines and you get our approval beforehand.

How DIY-friendly is the venue?

 

Very. Many couples choose to fully personalize their wedding design. We also provide an extensive collection of décor items including table runners, votives, vases, easels, frames, signage, and rustic wood accents to help bring your vision together from our in-house pantry.

Is setup and cleanup included?

 

Yes. Our team assists with setup coordination and handles full post-wedding cleanup. This allows you to remain present with your guests and enjoy your celebration without stress or logistical concerns.

What is your rain plan?

 

We proactively plan for weather and review backup options with each couple based on their layout and season. Our goal is to ensure your wedding flows beautifully regardless of weather conditions.

Is there a rehearsal before the wedding?

 

Yes. We include a guided rehearsal walkthrough a day before so your ceremony feels organized, intentional, and stress-free. This ensures everyone involved feels confident and prepared. We ask that your rehearsal day does not exceed 8 hours, especially if you are planning on hosting rehearsal dinner with us. 

Are there noise restrictions or a curfew?

 

Yes. Like most venues, we have a required event end time. Timing details are reviewed clearly during booking so expectations are fully aligned in advance. The Gilford Town ordinance is 10pm, meaning lights on and music off at that time. 

Do you offer on-site lodging?

We do not offer overnight accommodations on-site, however there are several nearby lodging options for couples and guests. We are happy to provide recommendations upon request, for more information check out our preferred vendors page!

When is your peak wedding season?

 

Peak season runs from late May through Columbus Day, with September and October being especially popular (peak season) due to foliage and ideal weather conditions.

How far in advance should we book?

The earlier the better to secure your dream date! Most couples book 12–24 months in advance, especially for peak fall dates. However, occasional availability does open up, so it’s always worth inquiring.
